The JLS Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) dedicated to helping First-Generation college students successfully complete college and move into thriving careers. Currently, we focus all of our effort on one community where we grew up – Hoosick Falls, NY.

Research shows that helping First-Generation students through college and into solid  careers is one of the most effective ways to promote social mobility, which means providing opportunities for individuals to move up the social and economic ladder. This mobility typically lasts for generations.

Since 2005, we’ve been providing professional networking, mentoring and college scholarships to students from Hoosick Falls Central School (HFCS). Many of these students are now thriving in some of the most competitive industries in the world including medicine, business, media and politics.
